These peculiar pieces of equipment may seem awkward and daunting to use but are rather effective and cheap to rent and with a quick read of the owners manual can be the cheapest DIY car tow ever. There are a few stipulations such as the size and drive of the vehicle and they and I do not recommend trying to back up the tow dolly with a vehicle on the dolly.
